Day 10.....

Heading to the south Rim and really hate to leave the north rim....Will have to see how the south rim is....Right before we left the north rim, we drove the bike down in front of the lodge and took some photo's of the bike....On our way out of the park we ran across some wild turkeys, with their babies!! It was a warm ride and by the time we got to the  south rim it was very warm!!we stopped at the Cliff Dwellers and had a family stop and ask if they could take photo's of their kids in front of our motorcycle. Our first stop once inside the south rim park was Desert View, it had a gift shop inside and an awesome View!! There were several stops to be able to see the south rim....But it was so worth it! walked to Mather point and what a sight to see!! Only thing was the elevation was so high it was hard to breath....on our way out of the park we stopped at the I-Max and saw the Canyon "The Hidden Secrets" that was so cool!! And also there was a cool 3D art that Kurt Werner did, he has done several pavement 3 D art!! so many things to see along the way to Williams,Az......See ya tomorrow!!

Day 9...

Well I first want to apologize for being so behind On this Vacation blog!! I has been off and on for Wi-Fi connections along the way!! So to get things caught up I will try and get it done before we get home!!  :)
On the 9th of July, we woke to a very Beautiful morning and decided to go for a ride. Went down the road to  LE FEVRE overlook...What an amazing View of the grand Canyon!! We started back to our cabin on the north rim. Ran into a small rain storm, did not get that wet. One thing about it it never last long when it does rain  :) Had  some awesome pizza at the Grand Canyon lodge Deli and can not forget the beer!! It is our last night here and We will be returning again here soon!! Next stop the south rim...See ya then!!

Day 8...

Our first night at the North rim Lodge, Great Dinner!!

On our way to the north rim, we saw  so much Beautiful  scenery, and some not so great like the land slide they have been working on for a while now, just outside of Cedar City. some of the photos are of a far away photo of the canyon, Navajo lake, and glen Canyon Dam. The North rim of the Grand Canyon is ununimaginable, It really has to be seen in real life to know the awesome Beauty of it!! and the sun sets are magnificent!! Thanks for joining me and Bruce on our grand Journey to Celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary!!  I am getting caught up with this blog!!!!

Day 7...

Not much going on today just a kick back, clean the bike and do some laundry...took some photo's of  Bruce washing the bike and I ended up just watching and being the photographer  :) went to sizzler for dinner and then did some Laundry. Heading to North rim of the grand canyon tomorrow!

Day 6....

Hey everyone!! Today was a very hot beginning...We got on the road around  9 am and was already 75 degrees. We stopped at a small place right outside of Zion National park. Had Breakfast and it was good, all the photo's of Zion were taken on the motorcycle while we were in motion. My new Sony cyber shot is so awesome, I am loving it!! So wish that I could post them here, but when I am able you can check back and see some awesome photo's!! It got very hot today and we were done within a couple hours. I loved the tunnel and got some good shots there too! What Beautiful country!! So as we were making our way back to camp (KOA Kabin) we saw that it was looking very dark and wet ahead. But it all we got was a couple drop's and that was it!! Ha Ha!! as we are getting closer to camp it was not looking good at all. But this is weird, the storm clouds keep rotating around Cedar City and it will thunder and lighting but no substantial rain. How about that!! We went to St.George to check out some places and it was so hot...How hot you may ask?    Our Motorcycle air temp said 104...Oh My...We did not stay that long there. very cool in cedar city. Tomorrow is a undecided day as of now...Bruce is checking out the map and we will see what we come up with for our last day in cedar city!! See you tomorrow!!!

Day 5....

Today was our first good sightseeing day, we went to Bryce Canyon and all together we took 181 pictures!! We got some awesome shots and can not wait to share them..I am really pissed that the connection here is garbage, so no photos yet...Sorry!!  :(.....   But it really was an Super Awesome sight!! Weather was good, not to hot, met some people from California and they loved the wing and we let them get on it and their kids too....I think that we really made their day!!!  Just before we got back from our venture The sky opened up and we were driving 80 mph   (that is the speed limit) boy did those big drops hurt!!!!! We pulled into town and went to dinner at the Arctic Circle for a light dinner. So as soon as we can, we will post the photos you guys have been waiting for very soon...Love ya and see ya tomorrow!!



Happy 4th of July....

Hey all, Hope everyone is having a fun and safe 4th!! We are now in Cedar City, Utah. and tomorrow is the big journey through Bryce cannon! Just so you all know I am having a very hard time uploading my photo's here, bad Internet connection, so I have decided to put them on a photo sharing site called photobucket, It is a pretty easy user friendly site and hope that you are able to enjoy them there..I will try my hardest to get some posted here. We have a few that we took along the way here... See ya soon and big hugs to all!! Forgot to say that We had a good ride here and it was a nice cool day compared to the day before  :)    The fire in Alpine Utah was still burning when we left. And we know there is a fire close by, because there are fire helicopter's going over the KOA where we are staying. No T.V and loving it!!! Gotta go and will see ya tomorrow!!!

Day Three...

OK, so I am trying to send some sun your way in Washington State!! We are now in Salt Lake City, Utah!! We are trying to stay cool...It was 99 here today.....I wish it was just a little bit cooler!! we just came back from the pool and Our KOA Cabin has air Conditioning...:)..This is a big KOA and there are only 2 Cabins. I am ready to get into some cooler weather, And pray that there are no more fires, We had a fire here in Salt Lake City, utah....It is called the Quail Fire in Alpine. There is a place here called Temple Square and we saw alot of different things!! Tomorrow is Cedar City, Utah and some time to relax and catch our breath. Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!!!
